Daily Routine
8:45-9:00 Arrival.
The children are greeted by a teacher and
change into indoor shoes/slippers.
9:00-9:20 Morning Circle.
Welcoming the children, material/art presentation,
songs and rhymes.
9:20-10:30Work period.
The children move freely throughout the prepared environment choosing materials and activities from the different areas of learning (Practical Life, Sensorial,
Math, Language, Cultural, Art/Music). The teachers
help and guide the children, and give individual
and group lessons.
10:30-10:45Clean up.
The children clean up the prepared environment.
10:45-11:15Circle.
Lessons/songs
11:15-12:00 Playtime.
The children change into outdoor shoes/clothes
and play outside.
12:00-12:45 Lunchtime.
Hands are washed and the children
enjoy lunchtime together.
12:45-1:00 Story time.
1:00-2:30 Naptime/afternoon work period.
The younger children settle down for a nap,
while the older children choose activities
from the prepared environment.
2:30-2:45 Wake up, clean up.
2:45-3:00 Story time.
3:00-3:30 Outside play time.
3:15-3:30 Dismissal. |
